In her current position as Senior Staff Accountant with Dominion Advisory Group, Inc., Lisa Valdez is chiefly responsible for handling accounts receivable. To accomplish this task, she monitors all properties through various stages of development and possession, and handles receivables for brokerage, leasing, and the property management lines of business.
While attending college at the University of Texas–Pan American, in Edinburg, Texas, Lisa increased both accounting efficiency and security for Inter National Bank by implementing the “Positive Pay” system for reconciling INB’s cashier’s, interest, expense and loan checks. Due to Lisa’s determination to implement the system, hours spent on check reconciliation and costs incurred by fraudulent bank activity were both greatly reduced.
As a 2005 graduate of UTPA, Lisa earned a B.B.A. in accounting. She accepted membership into the Golden Key International Honour Society and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and was graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude.
Lisa is originally from the Corpus Christ area. After living in the Rio Grande area for a few years, she moved to San Antonio. A wife and mother, she values the time she has to share with her son and husband. |
