As Assistant Vice President of Property Management, Joi Taylor supports Vice President Lee Jackson and Director of Leasing Rudy Fuentes in moving our Healthcare Facilities Services Division to industry prominence. Her primary role is to manage the healthcare buildings being brought on line, assist with marketing and business development and build the Healthcare Facilities Services team.
As testament to her acumen for real estate management, marketing and leasing, Joi received her Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation in 2003 from the Building Owners and Managers International (BOMI) and was named 2005 San Antonio Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Manager of the year and will become San Antonio BOMA president in two years. She is also a licensed real estate sales person and a BOMI instructor.
Joi’s significant industry achievements over the past 15 years and recent work with San Antonio’s Rector Management is invaluable to her role with our Healthcare Facilities Services division. With Rector Management, Joi carried out the full day-to-day local and regional marketing, leasing and management of the Remington Oaks Medical Office Building and the Stone Oak Medical Office Building totaling 172,000 square feet on the North Central Baptist campus in San Antonio, TX. The building is owned by Healthcare Property Investors (HCP), a publicly held real estate investment trust.
In her leisure time, she enjoys saltwater fishing, reading, traveling, snow skiing, water skiing and hiking. Joi is active in her church and has participated in numerous Habitat for Humanity and Young Life volunteer projects. She and her husband George have two children.
