Cristina R. Baumgardner is Senior Auditor for our Independent Audit/Supervision department. She is responsible for coordinating financial, operational and IT audits for Dominion Advisory Group, Inc., including creating an annual audit plan, analyzing risk assessments and developing and updating company processes. Her job responsibilities also include evaluating and overseeing improvements in company operations, which include building professional relationships with other departments and with the overall goal of achieving and maintaining operational efficiencies and efficient internal controls.
Cristina earned a B.B.A. in Accounting and an M.S. in Finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Having successfully demonstrated her expertise in the field of accounting, over her career, she has moved through the ranks from tax service accounting associate and internal banking auditor to employment as Senior Internal Auditor for Argonaut Group, Inc. Argonaut Group is an international underwriter of specialty insurance and reinsurance products in the property and casualty market holding assets in excess of $5 billion.
Cristina will play a key role in assisting our management team in the implementation of the Argus software system. Argus is the global standard for commercial real estate cash flow projection, transaction analysis and asset valuation solution. Her assistance will further our Dominion Advisory Group, Inc.’s competitive edge by enhancing strategic planning capabilities and investment tracking procedures for financial projections, valuations and return calculations for activities related to all properties and organizational entities.
Cristina is an avid reader and enjoys spending leisure time with family. She is also the wife of Andrew Baumgardner, son of Dominion Advisory Group, Inc. principals Larry and Carole Baumgardner. She and Andrew continue the Baumgardner family tradition of married couples working together professionally. |
